What sets this off-roader apart is Toyotas A-TRAC system (Active Traction Control), an electronically controlled, brake-based traction aid designed specifically for low-traction environments. Operating in 4LO (low-range), A-TRAC automatically applies braking force to wheels that lose grip and redistributes torque to those with traction. This mimics the effect of locking differentials, helping the FJ crawl over obstacles with confidence and control, even when one or more wheels lift off the ground. No need for guesswork, just intelligent, relentless traction wherever you go.
